Sydney

The following photographs are from Christmas and New Year, which I spent with my gorgeous friend Shazza... I mean Anna, and also a crazy assortment of Irish and Australian types, in Bondi. As you can probably tell from the photographs, I had an amazing time with everyone and thanks a million to all of those people who let me crash with them! You're legends!

A couple of funny stories to tell, firstly being the one of my arrival in Sydney at the airport, with instuctions in hand from Anna as to how to get to her dad's place in Epping. She left a note to go over the bridge if it was still light... bemused by this I joked with the taxi driver that she was crazy and hadn't told me WHICH bridge this was, and therefore I hoped he knew which one took me out of Sydney north of the river... He gave me a strange look as if to say "you're joking right..." - It wasn't until the next day when Anna and I were in the car facing the city that she pointed out "THE iconic BRIDGE" - I suddenly realised, to Sydenysiders, there is only ONE bridge... the Harbour Bridge... durrrrr
