Farewell to old friends

I'm absolutely shocked at how fast time has gone by, I mean it only seems like yesterday that the local punters at the Duke of York in Narrogin were asking me about my rack of lamb... And yet, almost 12 months has passed since I was there - So what did I do this weekend after working... I headed into the wheatbelt again to say goodbye to the friends I'd made all those months ago.

It was really good to catch up with everyone and it's funny seeing the town with RUSSELL fever! That being that Russell Gooley, Narrogin boy and X-Factor God, is into the final 9 of the competition... YOU GO BOY!!!!

As usual everybody was fantastic, making another lip smackingly delicious BBQ and providing me with plenty of beery beverage refreshment. I will miss them all, and the amazing countryside down there - it was awesome being taught about sheep drafting.

Well hopefully I'll get to add a little bit before I head over to NZ on Saturday - not sure if I'm in denial about it right now...

Oh and had a wicked evening with Soula and Oliver, as well as my housemates, watching the sunset over Cott beach, with a few stubbies - life is great!!!

All the best,
Kay xxx
