It's almost Goodbye to Australia

I can't believe it is only three weeks and 4 days until I leave for New Zealand. Don't get me wrong, I'm really looking forward to it, but I just wish that I could pack in my rucksack a number of things that I'm going to miss so much about Perth, in fact about Australia in general. I've met so many weird and wonderful people here, as always there will be so many that I hate to leave behind. Perth as well, is just an incredible place which I've come to call home, in fact maybe I should extend that to WA in general, as I've noticed I am very defensive of it! Although I know that everyone says New Zealand is going to be fabulous too - I seem to remember having similar fears leaving Thailand and never in a million years imagining I could fall in love with Australia.

Congratulations Australia, you got me!

Now maybe this will happen to me in New Zealand too - I can't say for sure it won't, but I have to admit that I have become very accustomed to the climate here in WA, as well as to a particular aussie bloke...

Anyway, maybe somewhere along the lines I will win the lotto, which will allow me to pay for further studies here... (speaking of which we did win again on saturday's lotto, $38 this time for division 4), well I'm thinking it's time for me to catch some ZZZZzzzzs

So, nighty night one and all,
love your Special K xxx
