A surprise find in Freo

A really cool thing happened today as I was about to amble into the Fremantle markets in Western Australia. I turned the corner to see a crowd of people watching a street performance and in the centre a familiar costumed body was jutting above the heads of the audience. I immediately realised it was Sophie and Jacob, of Fairy Fire fame, who I'd gotten to know during my time on Koh Phi Phi. How cool is that! Only two weeks ago, I'd been planning to take a trip down to the Nannup folk festival in March to see them performing, and now here they were in front of me - it was a really cool feeling! There have been quite a few random but exciting things happening of late, so I'm feeling like good vibes are going round. Hopefully this will extend into my time in New Zealand... Oh and I won $22 on the lotto last night! Not a fortune, but definitely enough to make me smile! And buy some more phone credit!! Now all I need to do is get another job!

Yeah, so I thought I'd just share that with you all! Sending you good luck vibes! And lots of love for Valentines tomorrow - hope you all got my address right for those cards!!! Ha ha ha!
