The rain returns...

Since it's raining for the first time in ages, I thought I would take this opportunity to peruse the internet for a while and update some of you on what I've been up to over the last week.

I've not really been working much since I finished tutoring, this is mainly due to the fact that people don't want to employ someone for a few weeks, which I suppose is fair enough - it's a pain in the arse though when you're trying to save for the next destination and go out to say goodbye to people too! I guess it's a good thing I have my flight already booked - thanks to Ben... maybe he was just making sure I'm leaving!

The worst thing about not having any work is trying to occupy myself... Now I know this sounds crazy, but I just can't do the whole sitting around thing - I get so bored! I've been swimming and walking - jogging when I can be motivated, still I feel like I'm kind of in limbo. Not quite here, not quite gone. I think I said before that I felt a bit funny leaving Thailand, because I had become so accustomed to it but at the same time I was defintely ready to leave when I did, and I knew it was the right time - here it isn't.

Of course, I'm not complaining by any means that I have to go to a country which is as beautiful as New Zealand, but I think I'm starting to feel as if it would be nice to travel with someone for a bit. Sharing stuff with someone else is cool. On the otherhand of course, being independent has so many bonuses... Not having to think about anyone else, going where you want, when you want to.

On that note, if any of you are thinking about heading to New Zealand in the next month or so, let me know!!

Well, I am working tonight - back at the old pub again! So I guess I'd better think about making some dinner and getting ready.
