Slap me in Spandex, I'm about to strut my stuff...

Now for some of you, this might be a highly amusing prospect, but for me at this precise moment in time, it's rather a scary thought - of course for each one of you who is amused by this image, I'm also aware that twice as many of you will be completely horrified (and perhaps physically sick.)

By now in fact, some of you might be asking 'what on earth is this nutter on about?' No, I can assure you I didn't freak out at the post-Christmas bulge and invest in a combination of Jordan and Mr Motivator Dvds - this time it's all for a good cause! CHARITY!!

I've just entered myself in the Cancer Research Race for Life, a 5 km run (or waddle as I'm more inclined to see myself), in which women from all over the UK will be taking part in order to raise money to help a great cause.

Whether or not I actually end up in Spandex is another matter entirely, I would like to say that for the sake of the City of Bath, come Sunday 4th of June, I'll have sensibly decided on a pair of flattering Nike trackie daks, but who knows, if support is great enough in favour (or preferably against) said clothing articles, I may have to reconsider all options!

I'm not going to hound you all to sponser me, but I would ask you all to consider it and if nothing else visit my weblink to have a wee lookie! Most of us have in some shape or form been touched by cancer and if getting my ample buttocks over a finish line 5 sweaty kilometres from where I crazily began can help fund research, then darn it, my dimpled cheeks are in!
