Share the love!

Happy Valentines' Day!

I'd like to take this opportunity, whilst you are feeling all warm and loved up, to ask you once again to think of all those people who have been affected by the tsunami which hit so many people at the end of last year.

For those who lost loved ones and for those who are struggling to rebuild their lives.
On a more positive note, remember that there is a lot of great work going on around the world right now, where communities and cultures are coming together to create hope for the future of those who suffered losses.

If you are thinking about escaping the winter, perhaps you want to treat a loved one to a romantic break, or maybe you wish to help the tsunami appeals but don't know how - I urge you to think about spending some time in Southern Thailand, where business really needs a boost from tourists.

It's not all doom and gloom, the Thais are amazing people with hearts bigger than Valentine's Day itself and they are far removed from the materialism which now goes hand in hand with February 14th. The following is an article by a South African friend of mine, who is living in Krabi with his wife and son, and it sheds new light on the situation of the tsunami affected areas of Thailand:
