The Ashes are back!!!

Hello to all my Australian mates!!! I know you must be feeling a deep sense of loss this week, but please be reassured I am basking in the glory of the Ashes finally being returned to us!!!

The whole series was exciting with every match played being just as nerve wracking as the last and each day seeing both the poms and the Aussies with bitten nails queuing to take their place at each cricket ground.

I have to say a special thank you to Stu and his work collegues who helped us get to see the game at Edgebaston, and for introducing me to a far more thrilling game than I might ever have imagined before.

Well done of course to the boys (an the Women's team too for their win!)... Let's see more edge of seat action from the grounds in the future!

And on that note in smugness....

WAHEY THE POMS!

Go the Poms!!!! It's time to get the Ashes back!!

As the final test approaches, rivalry between myself and the Ozzies is growing... And this time it looks like we're really giving the Australian cricket team a run for their money!!!!

I cannot believe that I am finally finding cricket an entertaining sport, but it's true - I'm hooked! The Edgebaston test certainly got me...

So now all that's left to say is "Go the Poms!"

Sorry to my Aussie mates & Ben, but you're just going no have to deal with loss! It's about time you guys got a kick up your Uluru!
